When I was learning discipline for toddlers I basically had no clue where to start out. You see I had never done this kind of thing before and I disliked seeing my child disturbed, so I used to let my child free with anything! Disciplining little ones is all about setting a perfect example and guiding your toddler. Positive reinforcement is key here, meaning when they are behaving good you treat them more special and encourage them, and when they misbehave you put forth discipline, but do not choose hitting or yelling.
Remember to not set too high expectations though, given that small children are still learning the world around them and are likely to make mistakes at some time. Nevertheless there are many methods you can employ and if you perform some of your own analysis you can get these out.
